By creating an account, accessing, or using DraftFill ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DraftFill ("we", "us", or "our").

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

DraftFill is a document management platform that allows users to create, edit, and manage documents with interactive code blocks and custom fields. The Service includes:

• Block-based document editor with 11+ block types
• Custom field syntax for creating fillable templates
• Document locking and view modes
• Document sharing and collaboration features
• Tag-based organization system
• Subscription management for premium features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account
• You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

3.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• We are not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain account security
• We use passwordless authentication via magic links sent to your email

3.3 Account Termination

• You may cancel your account at any time through the Privacy Settings page
• Account deletion is subject to a 30-day grace period, during which you can cancel the deletion request
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

DraftFill offers the following subscription plans:

• 3-Day Trial: $1.00 for 3 days of full access (no refunds)
• Monthly Plan: $4.99 per month, billed monthly
• Yearly Plan: $29.88 per year, billed annually (50% savings)

4.2 Payment Processing

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• We do not store your complete payment card information
• By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees
• All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated

4.3 Billing and Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period
• We will send you an email reminder before charging your payment method
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance

4.4 Cancellations and Refunds

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Subscription page
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• You retain access to paid features until the end of the billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, including the 3-day trial
• Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion for service failures or billing errors

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

• You retain all ownership rights to the content you create using the Service
• By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service
• We do not claim any ownership rights over your documents, code, or custom fields

5.2 Content Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for the content you create, upload, or share
• You must have the necessary rights and permissions for all content you submit
• You may not upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• You may not upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

5.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to create, upload, or share content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
• Infringes on intellectual property or privacy rights
• Contains viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred
• Is sexually explicit or inappropriate
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonates any person or entity
• Contains spam or unsolicited advertising

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

9. Service Availability

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DRAFTFILL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Errors or omissions in content

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DraftFill, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
